Decrypto is a game that consists of communicating safely to your teammates... and I feel it takes the best parts of games like Charades, Pictionary, Codenames and furthers it's evolution. It is a very difficult game to describe... best summed up by Detective James Carter. In Decrypto, two opposing teams are assigned 4 codewords, each slotted into a team board with numbers 1-4. Players then take turns becoming their teams Encryptor.  They draw from a deck of cards and are given a 3 number code.  eg. 3.1.2 Then the Encryptor must give clues that allude to the matching codeword for that slot number so that the rest of the team can decipher the code and come up with 3.1.2.  The encryptor is not allowed to participate in the teams discussion. However, here's the catch.  The opposing team is listening to your communications as well so the clues that you give can't be too obvious as starting in the second round each team gets to attempt intercepting th

No Peeking! Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King is a tile laying game with light Euro elements to it.  Players select one of the major Clans from the Isle of Skye; Clan Mac Leod, Clan Mac Donald, Clan Mac Neacail(Nichol), Clan Mac Kinnon, and Clan Mac Innes. Each player is given a privacy screen, Axe Token, 5 Pound Stirling, and a Castle Tile.   In the Isle of Skye scoring is done at the end of each round.  On the scoreboard there are four slots A through D.  In each round one or more section is combined in the scoring.  eg. round 1 A, round 2 B, Round 3 A and C etc.  There are 16 goal tiles in the game providing a huge amount of re-playability. After the scoreboard is prepared and starting with the first player, they each draw three game tiles from a cloth bag and place them in front of their privacy screen.  What happens next is players will evaluate their three tiles and select one to discard by putting the Axe Token in line with the tile, but behind the privacy scr

I've been away for awhile....my Wife and Son went off on vacation for 6 weeks and I spent a lot of time playing games and not painting. So while I sort out the weeks, I did complete my 800 point army for Star Wars Legion.  Here they are on Parade!
